It is a leading institution in gastrointestinal care and clinical research in Korea. The hospital has been awarded 1st grade in the Gastric and Colorectal Cancer Adequacy Evaluation for five consecutive times, and has earned three consecutive accreditations as an Excellent Endoscopy Center by the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. It is also a certified training hospital for endoscopy specialists.

With 25 full-time specialists, the center provides care for up to 250 patients daily. It operates under an integrated medical system, encompassing gastroenterology, surgery, hemato-oncology, radiology, and pathology departments. The Health Promotion Center ensures rapid coordination of care, and a 24-hour emergency endoscopy and surgical response system is in place for urgent abdominal conditions.
