Job Description

The Brand & Consumer Collecting Specialist is a member the marketing team.
The role is also responsible for managing key operations/execution of initiatives that drive product trial and build brand image.
The position will be the liaison between the sales team and the consumer collecting teams in the field and will ensure an aligned approach to current executions.
More importantly, works on understanding and gathering consumer insights and market research, specifically what drives TOM awareness, brand salience and per capital consumption.
And responsible for managing integration of impactful sales support programs, working cross functionally on new ways to excite our consumers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:
 
1. Program Strategy & Management

  • Translates Consumer Collecting goals and tactics to Student Marketeer.
  • Outlines strategies & objectives for the CC & Brand teams that allow for the development and execution of strong sampling and Collegiate Marketing.
  • Lead the Wings & SBM in the planning and execution of national campaigns.
  • Regularly provide updates to Brand & CC Manger of programs performance and future plans and opportunities.
  • Be the conduit for the development of Consumer Entry Point Marketing plans and development.
  • Conduct regular market visits to better understand the focus areas and executional challenges.
  • Supports the Brand & CC Manager to develop and implement the annual business plan.
  • Regularly assess and analyse the programs, identifying opportunities to improve processes and excite consumers and students.
  • Work on plans that will sustain or increase % of awareness and brand image amongst students as well as improve student coverage & people reached on university campuses managed by Red Bull University.



2. Consumer Understanding, Analysis and Implementation

  • Research into current trends in youth content consumption and activities on and offline in the collegiate landscape.
  • Explore and develop sampling opportunities beyond current Programs to help broaden our youth user base.
  • Lead and recommend sampling and collegiate action plan specific to the regions.
  • Improve the targeting of sampling new & infrequent users through the Sampling program by reviewing data and insights on a regular basis and the mission.


3. Increase Trial and Build Brand Relevance

  • Build a localized plan with the CC& Brand Manager to increase trial and intensify consumption.
  • Manage local resource allocation (e.g. budgets, cans, hours, etc.) based on national strategy and Business Unit (BU) KPIs.
  • Challenge Wings and SBM to generate new ideas for sampling mission and campus activity to drive trial and excite consumers.
  • Conduct regular market visits to better understand the focus areas and executions challenges.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities beyond existing programs that will win new users and exiting consumption.
  • Analyse and report against program goals and key priorities including cans, occasions, consumer targeting, sales support, event support and indirect sampling initiatives.



4. Collaboration and Discovery

  • Champion & Share best practice with Key stakeholder at HQ and BU
  • Build strong relationships with internal sales and marketing stakeholders to maximize program impact and Sales Support initiatives.
  • Lead execution of local and national trial -driving and collegiate occasion campaigns in collaboration with Cross Marketing and Key Accounts.
  • Leverage consumer collecting to support national, BU and regional brand campaigns (e.g Product launches, Brand Building events, and implementation of cross marketing programs at retail).
  • Support network, influencer, and opinion leader identification.

 

5. Product and Packaging Innovation & POS Implements

  • Support and manages solid product launch together with sales, finance and other marketing functions and acts as the key contact for Red Bull HQ.
  • Understand which packaging solution addresses country-specific needs, as well as leads and manages the launch proposal.
  • Ensure global POS toolkit is used effectively in order to adhere to brand guidelines and appropriately represent the brand as well
       as meet country needs and objectives.
  • Work on Store communication strategy recommend and support trade activity proposals pushing the brand guideline whilst protecting the brand image.
  • Create and develop all channels of communications that contribute to the timely execution of Red Bull initiatives at internal, trade or shopper lever.


6. People Development

  • Hire a dynamic team of individuals with a track record of accomplishment that represent our brand values.
  • Deliver trainings and tools to ensure Wings and SBM teams are set up to successfully deliver on plans.
  • Empower Wings and SBMs to create and own ‘bottom-up’ plans.
     – Coach direct reports to grow their skills and increase brand knowledge.
  • Recognize and reward exceptional execution.
  • Provide direct, consistent, and productive feedback to maximize individual and team impact.
  • Passion to grow and believe in Red Bull vision and marketing.
  • Process administrative paperwork for personnel movements and actions.
  • Look how to improve effectiveness of recruitment campaigns by identifying new digital spaces & social media initiatives to attract the best candidates.

Job Requirements

  • 2-4 year experience in relative field.
  • A ‘connector’ who has excellent communication and networking skills, who can open doors and excite people for an idea.
  • The ability to lead and cultivate a strong team environment, people management preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in cross-functional teams with different objectives and personalities.
  • Coordination of collaborative projects from ideation through planning and execution.
  • A creative marketer with depth in brand understanding, innovation at the heart who puts new ideas into practice fast.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and on-line communication skills, including presenting and training.
  • Ideally, experience in working with commercial teams – general sales or trade marketing.
  • Strong understanding of youth culture in the region.
  • BTL Marketing or Field Marketing experience preferred
